Festival of Finn

Got a beard you want to show off? Particularly good at stone throwing? Great fisherman? The Festival of Finn is for you!

This festival takes place on May Bank Holiday weekend each year. It’s a 5 day family fun festival featuring the World Stone Throwing Championship, Ireland’s Best Beard & Moustache Competition, Festival Fancy Dress Parade, Lark at the Lake, Village Street Market, concerts & seisiúns, dancing & song, history & legends, film, competitions & games, sporting events and lots lots more.

North Clare Agricultural Show

Annual one day family event featuring Horse and Pony Show Jumping, classes in horses, ponies, cattle, sheep, donkeys and also a dog show. 

Indoor exhibits in flowers, vegs, home baking, crafts, poultry and many children’s classes.
